As if Fashion Week wasn’t enough of a good excuse, but to work alongside the Lilly Hilt team, styling hair for models before they walk the Runway during some of the most ICONIC Fashion Weeks like Milan and Paris? It’s a no-brainer.

Our Fashion Week Academy is more than just about taking part in a Fashion Week and something to tick off your bucket list.
Let’s get into it.
You’ll land and make your way to us! We will be waiting at an apartment that you’ll be sharing with the other students.

Although it may be a retreat, it’s going to be far from slow paced.
When you first arrive, you will be greeted with a Welcome Reception. This is the perfect time for us to get to know you and for you to get to know the others.
Think drinks, nibbles and games.
The fun kind, not the awkward kind. -
The looks are finalised at the very last minute, so you won’t know what looks you’ll be doing until the final model fitting.
This training with Trayce will go over how to execute the looks, and you’ll learn all the tips and tricks of the trade and what goes into making the simple looks, look so perfect, in such little time. -
You’ll spend a morning or afternoon (location-dependent) with our Social Media Specialist, diving into what makes a standout post and how to rise above the competition.
This session not only helps you maximize the buzz from your trip but also equips you to strengthen your personal brand or strengthen your salon’s social media presence when you’re back home.

You’ll arrive at the venue around 8 AM to start setting up, with models arriving shortly after to begin preparations. The first show typically kicks off a few hours later, and from there, it’s full steam ahead.
Show days are intense but exhilarating. You’ll blink, and they’ll be over. Soak up every moment and savour the energy of Fashion Week.
The final day is capped with a celebration, whether it’s an after-party or a Champagne toast to commemorate your achievements.

While this trip is packed with value, skill-building sessions, and incredible career opportunities, we also believe in downtime. It's important to soak in the beauty of these stunning countries, especially if it’s your first time visiting.
Our Training with Trayce and Social Media Training are designed as half-day sessions. This means you’ll have either the morning or afternoon free, depending on the schedule, to relax, explore, or just take a breather.
And after the final show, you’ll have a full day off to recharge before heading home, because we know you’ve earned it.

A lot. We wanted to include as much as possible to ensure you leave with absolutely everything you needed to become the next version of yourself in your career.
You can find a list of everything included above, but to keep it simple, I’ll state what’s not included:

One thing we’ve realised about Fashion Week is the reason why everyone excels so much is because it’s a fresh start.
No one knows you. You know no one.
And it’s a blessing.
You could of qualified yesterday, and no one would know any different.
Sometimes it’s all you need to prove to yourself, and others that you are more than what meets the eye. -
Our pro team is a selected few that we have worked with previously and …
It helps us ensure that we have a range of stylists with a guaranteed skill set that is essential for running a smooth operation and that can cater to a range of different hair styles, types or textures.
It’s also to ensure that you have someone you can go to at all times. Jodie and Trayce are very in demand people when the shows are taking place, and if they aren’t around, the pro team is there to help guide and assist you if needed. -
Even at Lilly Hilt’s debut, we had a variety of experience within stylists!
We had a member who had only been qualified for just 2 years, and some of our team had over 20 years of experience!
The only thing we require of you is passion, teamwork and to communicate when something is wrong or you need help.
Also, years of experience doesn’t determine your skill set as a hairdresser. So don’t over think it! -
You aren’t able to extend your trip with us.
However, as you are booking your own flights, you are able to continue your holiday elsewhere, but you will no longer be with the Lilly Hilt team, or be able to extend your stay in the accommodation.
